Grand Opening August 15, 2009 Laishley Crab House Smuggler's Enterprises is pleased to announce the grand opening of Punta Gorda's Laishley Crab House. Set right on the waterfront overlooking the Peace River and Charlotte Harbor, Laishley Crab House offers the freshest seafood available. Menu specialities include fresh blue crab direct from Charlotte Harbor, and Alaskan King Crab and Snow Crab flown in daily from Alaska. A full sushi bar is also not to be missed. The restaurant also includes a large room for functions and events.

May 2008 Smuggler's Enterprises is pleased to be sponsoring the 2008 Inaugural 4th of July Fireworks at Laishley Park in Punta Gorda. It will be a full day event that includes live music and a variety of foods and beverages. Children's activities are also planned to make the event family-oriented. Smuggler's has hired Mark Bender, a 20 yr veteran of catering to head our new Smuggler’s Culinary Catering service. He has worked throughout the United States doing a multitude of catering jobs. We are very excited about this new addition to our company. We feel that Mark’s experience and knowledge will provide our path to being the leading caterer in Charlotte County.
